It's a ........!

It is our 7th wedding anniversary today and we decided to celebrate it by having our very first detailed ultrasound and finding out the gender of the baby.  Needless to say, we were all (including Camryn) a little anxious about what the results were going to be.  Was Camryn going to be disappointed because she really wanted a baby sister?  Can I really handle two babies?  The thoughts were endless.

It turns out we are having a healthy baby....

BOY!

We are extremely excited!  Terry and I have yet to come up with any decent boy names, however, but we have four months to go so hopefully we wil figure something out by then.

2nd Annual Kid's Christmas

Just a few pictures to give everyone an idea of how much fun we had!

A sign of what's to come...

Recently we spent some time over at my girlfriend's house with her little 6 month old.  Just watching her and Camryn interact was, for me, a sign of what's to come.  You never know how your child is going to react when they are blessed with a new sibling.  Camryn will be 3 and a half and she's pretty used to it being "just the three of us!"  I really enjoyed watching her and her little friend play.

Two Cinderellas

Cinderella was the theme of Halloween this year.  We got together with a few friends and went out to some houses for Trick-or-Treating!  Camryn and her friend, Madison, were adorable, running from house to house screaming "Wait for me!" to eachother.  And if you can't tell, the last picture was taken next to PRINCESS DR.  What a way to end the night!

Pumpkin Patch 2009

We picked the last sunny day (Saturday, October 24th) and heading out to Fort Langley to visit the Aldor Acres Pumpkin Patch.  The whole family had a blast!  There were so many animals to pet and it was quite an adventure entering the petting area where goats and turkeys are running around.  I'm not a huge animal fan but I had to try and remain calm for Camryn so she could see that they wouldn't hurt her, meanwhile I'm thinking, "Get Me Out Of Here!"  The little ones had a blast picking out a pumpking even though they were more interested in the rotten ones.  Lots of fun!

Pumpkin Bumpkin

Tonight we carved our pumpkin and needless to say, Camryn had a blast!  The pictures definitely prove how proud she was of our pumpkin.

Camryn was just the cutest little girl every when we put her to bed tonight.  She could not stop kissing my belly, she sang "Twinkle, twinkle" and snuggled under the covers with me, talking to the baby, until we finished reading our stories.  I LOVE it!  I can't wait to see Camryn's reaction as the baby grows.

Camryn is 3

Camryn turned 3 on October 6, 2006 and had a pajama party to celebrate. Amongst her many gifts she received a swing set from her Grandpa and Grandma and she loves it to bits. When it is sunny, all she wants to do is go play on the swings. Luckily for us, she is learning how to pump her legs and keep it going by herself.  Camryn is enjoying her cousins, Kail & Kara and having a blast when they come over once a week and when she gets to go to preschool, twice a week, with Kail.

Recently, Camryn, my mom and I took a trip to Winnipeg for 5 days to visit with my Aunt, Uncle, 2 Cousins and my 3rd cousin, which we in turn call my neice.  We had a blast!  Especially Camryn, who got to follow around a 6, almost 7, year old and play with her toys.  I definitely miss my family in Winnipeg, and I can't believe it's been 10 years since they moved out there.  My family spent a lot of time with their family in our younger years and many memories have been created because of that.

Princess Camryn is completely convinced that the growing baby in my belly is a GIRL.  "It's a sister Mommy!", she continually tells me.  I love it, but I hope I don't disappoint.  I hope you enjoy the attached pictures.  I had a hard time picking out my favorites.
