In Need of a JOB!
My husband is, now, in need of a job!
Electronic Arts let go 100 of its employees on Thursday, January 22nd, 2009, and my poor husband was sent home with no job, no 2 weeks to find a job, nothing and he has been job hunting ever since.
In 2004 when Terry got the job at EA, we were so happy! It was security. No more contract jobs, not knowing where you are going to work in 6 months. We bought a house. We had a baby. We bought another house. We felt safe. Now, due the economy, we are a lot less secure and just praying that we will stay afloat. Our faith is being tested.
We must rely on God now and trust that we will be provided for no matter what. I do believe this but when you are put in a position of question, the time you need God most, you rely on all of your faith. I am learning patience. Patience with God. I know that what is meant to happen will happen as it is all in His plan.
I wonder what he has in store for us next.

My poor little Bubba girl
My poor little Bubba girl is finally getting better. She has had some version of the flu for the past 13 days and today she has finally started to really act like herself. We have had 2 trips to the clinic and 2 trips to BC Children's Hospital. Yesterday was our last hospital visit and the doctor confirmed that she does NOT have Clostridium Difficile. Because I was diagnosed with it in December 2008 I was extremely worried that I had been an awful mother and passed it on to my little girl. We are very blessed that it is just a MAJOR rotavirus that she has been diagnosed with and it is on its way out of our house.

A New Way to Clean... Without Chemicals!
I am NOT a clean freak! If you have ever been to my house, it is plain to see. Cleaning is not my top priority.
Last night, I went to my very first Norwex party. I was completely floored by this product and the biggest skeptic going in. This product is amazing and is so environmentally friendly. It is mainly based on microfiber cloths that can be used on areas like windows, kitchens and bathrooms. Simply use water and this microfiber cloth and you remove 99.9% of the bacteria. It uses no chemicals and gives you the ability to clean your house better than it has ever been cleaned before. Your family is going to be safe from all the things that may cause them to get super sick.
You save time, money, improve health, and give yourself a better environment. I am so FOR this product and I never thought I would be.

No family photos?
Baby Kara
Okay, Baby Kara is not such a baby anymore. My new little niece is quickly approaching 8 months but I feel like she gets forgotten about because she's the little one in the family and she isn't running around yet with Camryn and Kail. I am dedicating this post to her, so here you go Kara Bera! We all love you so much!
If you look closely, Kara is mixture of Kail and Camryn. Take a look at their baby pictures below from about the same age. So adorable if you ask me, but I'm a biased mother and auntie all rolled into one.

Single Ladies
When I received an email from my cousin, K with a website that had the words You Tube in it, I had to have a peak. Please have a look at my niece, T performing her version of Single Ladies by Beyonce.

I also included Beyonce's version as well.

Ice Skating
So it's probably not the norm to take your 2 year old ice skating, but we did it anyways. It was so much fun! Camryn loved it! She couldn't stand up by herself or as she says "All my byself!", but she did a great job and enjoyed every minute. Just thought I would post a pic of our family today!
This is also my first time posting a video. Let's just see how it goes. Camryn's very first time on the ice.

Potty Training
So we decided to potty train to ring in the New Year with a bang! So far, so good!
We started the evening of Dec. 29 and had Camryn go pee-pee on the potty before bed. From Dec. 30 on she has been wearing panties during the day, Pull-ups when we go out, and diapers to bed. There has really only been 2-3 accidents so far. So I will say it again... so far, so good!
She looks super cute in her little princess panties! I love that little bum!
The first day was the WORST! She peed all day, and not in her potty. We had a ton of clean panties ready and a bucket of soapy water. It totally sucked but it was worth it. By the second full day we pretty much put her on the potty all day and had her watch movies. By the third day, she didn't have any accidents and was wearing panties all day. We went to a restaurant and she actually turned me and said, "I have to go pee-pee!" We were shocked!
We are so proud and so happy that this is going well.
