For the first time ever, I got to see my little two year old, play pretend with one of my cousin's girls. Taylor and Camryn played with the doll house and it was, perhaps, the cutest thing I have ever seen. Taylor took to Camryn like a little Mommy (she is a year older and only an inch or two taller than Camryn). I loved it! I couldn't help taking a million and one pictures.
Then Alyssa (a different cousin's little girl), Taylor and Camryn proceeded to play hairdresser in the living room with a little stool, an empty bottle of Canada Dry (shampoo), a mirror, and some pretend scissors (which I might add, were scary for the mommies more than anyone. There is just too many stories of kids cutting their own hair for that to feel safe). The kids took turns cutting and washing eachother's hair while one of them showed the others what they looked like in the mirror. I was blown away at the creativity they showed and how grown up they all looked. My little girl, is once again, is not so little anymore.
