It's Christmas Time at the Veer's

As December starts out we are filling our time with some events that come along with December, i.e. Uncle Kurt's birthday, and other Christmas crafts or happenings that we can participate in.  We started with decorating some gingerbread men.

We also celebrated Christmas early with the Veer's as it seemed that Terry may be away for a Christmas celebration closer to Dec. 25. Fortunately we were wrong and it looks like my husband will be with me until the end of the year.

Camryn also had a Christmas party the last day of preschool which was extremely neat for Terry and I to participate in as we don't really get to see what she does two days a week in preschool. It turns out she is extremely well behaved and has a blast learning new songs and participating in all the activities they offer.

As I mentioned earlier, Uncle Kurt's birthday is always a treat but now what do I get him for Christmas?

We took Camryn to the Festival of Lights at Vandusen Gardens for ours and her very first time.  It was cold but extremely enjoyable, especially due to the company.  We invited the Breedvelds along and Joel & Camryn ran around loving every minute of the lights.

Camryn presented her very first Christmas pageant at Bethany Baptist Church.  I caught her singing with all her friends.  They were absolutely adoarable and I am already looking forward to seeing it again next year.

Grandma & Grandpa needed help decorating their Christmas tree this year so they enlisted Camryn and she was extremely delighted.

And as we enter mid-December, we have our first snowfall.  The Hummelman's stopped by after dinner and we all went for a walk to the park.  Camryn and I made snow angels as you can kind of tell below.  She loves the snow and is enjoying every minute of this season.  We are planning on going ice skating, toboganning and visiting Santa.  Stay tuned!
