One Years Old

If you can believe it, my baby boy Bowen is one years old.  He has grown up so fast and I can hardly believe all that has happened in this past year.  We have been through so much from 2010 - 2011 and the days are flying by.  If you can believe it, I go back to work in 2 weeks.  TWO weeks!!!!  I'm floored at how crazy that sounds.  I will have to leave my little ones a couple of days a week and after being home since January 12 of last year it seems like forever since I have worked.  I'm not super nervous about going back to work, although I do hope that I haven't forgotten how to be a really good assistant.  I'll have to read all my notes and give myself a refresher course.  It's a good thing I love my job, or it would be even more difficult to go back.

Bowen has 5 teeth now and is eating everything and anything from the table when he is hungry.  Meal time has become a lot easier since I haven't had to make something separate for him for dinner and he is having all of his milk during the day from a sippy cup.  Mommy is proud!  Bo has quite the personality and thinks he is extremely funny.  I love him so much and I feel extremely blessed to have him a part of our lives.

 

And we can't forget about our four and half year old little girl who is closely approaching five years old and going in to full-time Kindergarten.  I love watching Camryn grow as a person and develop her own sense of style.  I haven't been able to pick out her clothes since she was two and I enjoy her independence most of the time.  The days I don't enjoy the independence, I remind myself that it is a good trait and I must be thankful for it because there will come a time that it is a good thing.
